At Mercy Ministry in OEM, we serve and bless disadvantaged children living in welfare homes in Seoul. Being part of Mercy Ministry has given me a chance not only to bless the children there, but also bless the workers by helping them have some free time. Recently one of the homes received a 7-month-old boy. He is malnourished because of a birth defect and parental negligence. One of the busy workers there has to care for him as well as the other preschool and elementary children. As I feed, hold, pray, and spend time with this boy, I am reminded about how much Mercy Ministry's volunteers are able to bless the staff by giving them a break from the children.  It's truly a blessing to be able to participate in this ministry because it is so close to God's heart.  / Joshua Smith
