Dear Pastor Ha
Dear beloved Pastor Ha,

So Young Lee
Thanks to your leadership, I have been nurtured and pastored by pastors and predecessors of faith to choose to live my life on mission with Christ Jesus. During the past fifteen years at Onnuri, I have experienced, first-hand, what the Holy Spirit will do when a leader like yourself seeks and obeys God? will. Thank you for the multiple opportunities to learn to foster an intimate relationship with the Living God, to serve the Church on a global level, to develop spiritual giftings, and my personhood in Jesus Christ. What an honor and privilege to have been a part of the global and mission-minded Church, which you led to follow Christ passionately with all our hearts, minds, and souls. I will ever remember that we are to “teach, learn, or leave,”and that we are “to send, or to go” to the mission field.
Dear Pastor Ha,

JC
Christ saved my mother at my grandmother? funeral and she started attending Onnuri afterwards. I remember one morning she came back from the early-morning-prayer service so happy because you prayed for her. You have been a huge blessing to our family. Thank you for being faithful to God? call despite all the pain you had to go through. I am looking forward to visiting your mansion in heaven with my family.
A Worthy and Fruitful Life

Liz and Willy Linssen
“Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop-a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown”(Matt. 13: 8). In this parable, Jesus taught that not everyone's life produces the same kind of fruit. I have no doubt that Pastor Ha? life was one that produced a hundred-fold crop and now he is reaping his eternal rewards. Let us be inspired by this great man of God who allowed God? Word to produce such a great harvest!
A Man after God's Heart

Kent Lee and Daisy Kim
As one who sought after and knew God's heart, Pastor Ha cared deeply for the lost and the underprivileged. He showed us how to love and pray for the nations. Because of his deep passion and vision, many have been blessed. He taught that we cannot hoard God? blessings, but are to share His blessings with others. He lived out what he taught. Thank you, Pastor Ha.
The Lord gives to faithful servants

Pastor Gordon MacDonald(Chancellor, Denver Seminary)
A great man with a heart for God? highest purposes has been called home. He worships today in the presence of the Master. He receives the ‘well done’that the Lord gives to faithful servants. He rests from his labors and takes up the new life that God has designed for all his sons and daughters in eternity. Now it is the privilege of all of you to take up his vision and enlarge it. He would like this to happen, I'm sure. My Christian greetings to all of you.
His passion & voice will be sorely missed
Pastor Jim Cymbala(The Brooklyn Tabernacle, Brooklyn)
The body of Christ has lost one of its great spiritual leaders with the passing of Pastor Ha. Although blessed with special gifts from God and exerting a vast international influence, this man of God walked in great humility. The last time we were together he was again challenging thousands to spread the Gospel of Christ throughout the earth. That was his passion and his voice will be sorely missed. I count it a special privilege to have had him as my friend.
“He was one of the finest ministers”
Pastor Bill Hybels(Willow Creek Community Church)
“He was a true man of God”
David and Ellen Ross(Youth With A Mission, Korea)We join the tens of thousands of fellow disciples who mourn the loss of our dear friend, Pastor Ha. He was a true man of God who completed his task for this generation with great love for our Lord and with deep humility. A man loved by God, Pastor Ha? confidence in that love enabled him to spread that love to those around him and to the world. His vision grew out of that deep love, and it has led Onnuri Church into global ministry that is transforming the world. We have been personally enriched and renewed through our friendship with Pastor and Mrs. Ha, and we pray that the Holy Spirit of Comfort will enfold his family and strengthen them. Onnuri Church is strong in the Lord, and will soar with eagle? wings, until we all once again meet together in the Lord.
In memory of a Christ-like leader
Jae-Ryun Chung
Pastor Young-Jo Ha was such leader in my life. If there ever was a person who exemplified servant leadership of Christ, Pastor Ha was that person.Gospel was so simple for him. He simply loved Jesus dearly and he wanted all others to know that they could fall in love with Jesus too. Jesus was for all people-so he went to the rich and poor, famous and ordinary to share Christ? love. Jesus was for all stages of life-so he sought after the young and old, single and married.
No one was to be left out of knowing and loving Jesus. That is why so many different people with varying backgrounds and perspectives gathered at his departure to celebrate a servant leader whose life was all about Christ. As I miss him, I am reminded of the scripture. Philippians 1:21 “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain”
A Man on Mission with God
Eddie Byun
His passion to see the nations know Jesus Christ was clear through the thousands of missionaries sent out by Onnuri and the global reach of CGNTV. He finished his race the way most preachers could only dream of doing: preaching God? Word on Sunday and then going home to Jesus two days later.
It was an honor to serve by his side. It was an honor to receive such love and support from him. He was a great man. He was a great man of God. And I miss him greatly.
